Non-Discrimination and Equal Treatment

The journal “Physical and Mathematical Education” is committed to non-discrimination and equal treatment of all participants in the editorial process - authors, reviewers, editors, and readers.

1. Equal opportunities

Manuscripts are assessed solely on scholarly merit, relevance, methodological soundness, compliance with the journal’s scope, and adherence to ethical standards.

2. Non-discrimination

The journal does not tolerate discrimination or unfair treatment based on, including but not limited to:

  • sex, gender identity, sexual orientation;
  • age, health status, disability;
  • race, ethnicity, nationality, citizenship;
  • language, religion, political views;
  • social status, place of residence, institutional affiliation;
  • any other characteristics unrelated to the scholarly quality of the manuscript.

3. Hate speech and abusive content

Submissions containing hate speech, discriminatory statements, harassment, or incitement to violence will not be accepted for publication and may be rejected or require correction in line with the journal’s policies.

4. Fair process and conflicts of interest

The journal ensures impartial peer review and proper management of conflicts of interest. If bias is suspected during peer review or editorial handling, the journal may appoint an alternative editor and/or initiate additional independent review.

If an author, reviewer, or reader believes discrimination or bias has occurred, they may contact the editorial office at fmo-journal@fizmatsspu.sumy.ua. Complaints are handled under the journal’s Complaints Handling Procedure.
